Awesome BYOB sushi spot - gets crowded so be ready for a wait on weekends. Neighborhood feel. Ambiance is so so but prices are reasonable and sushi quality is very good.

Fresh, reasonable and BYOB. I've never had a bad experience here! Cash only and there's a corkage fee after the first bottle or for large bottles. So delicious - highly rec the tuna pizza and soft shell crab roll!

Favorite sushi place in NYC for two reasons; the amazing sushi, and they’re BYOB. Makes for a great date night. Don’t forget it’s cash only. There’s a liquor store and ATM around the corner.

This is probably my favorite sushi place in all of New York City. BJ, the owner, is one of the most friendly and wonderful guys and sushi chefs. Highly recommended. Try the scallop. BYOB. There’s a liquor store just across first Avenue.

Vely vely good sushi. Awesome selection and a great altelnative to hiking half way across manhattan for the closest comparison. I enjoyed the intimate setting and would recommend that for your future tinder dates. The staff were nice and I left with an overarching feeling of satisfaction and wholesomeness.

So fresh! Reasonable prices! Loud interior, but quick service. Food was great, and they even make things 'off-menu', such as a "Tuna Bomb" or a "Salmon Bomb" (I can't describe these little treats/ appetizers, other than to say to order one and you won't be sorry!)One thing to note: if you are looking for a poké bowl, you won't find one here. The name is misleading, but the food is not! It's fantastic.This is cash only, and it is BYOB.

Best sushi I’ve ever had and the selections are just that good. Hands down and always make it a point to go here when we visit home. BYOB is a plus. This place is a must!!

Sushi is great and the prices here are very reasonable for the quality of food. Having it be BYOB is a great addition as you can accompany your meal with the wine of your choice. Cash only so be wary of that.

The quality of the food is still really good.The menu is mostly sushi and rolls though there are two Miso soup options and some starters and salads. We've been here occasionally over the past ten-plus years and the portions are looking smaller!

Great food! Awesome that they are BYOB - a tough find in NYC. we ordered mainly rolls but found this one off the menu gem that we saw regulars ordering - the tuna bomb! Would recommend this casual, well priced sushi spot to all!

Been here a number of times over past few years. Always enjoyed the quality and BYOB. However we went recently and the portion sizes were noticeably smaller, very little fish in the rolls. Won't be a regular here anymore.

Decent sushi, loud interior, and loved that it is BYOB, but portions are crazy small! We ordered a total of 6 rolls and appetizer and left in satisfied. Some of the “bigger” rolls were only 4 pieces!

You have your choice of base, or half and half. I recommend the matcha rice (it really seems as if they are putting matcha in EVERYTHING these days) and the salad. You can also get white or brown rice. Then on to the fish/meat. Tons of chunky and solid fish or meat (I tend to get the salmon and tuna), all for an excellent price.

Incredible taste, so fresh. Must try the spicy Hamachi roll.

Our waitress was great. After our first set of rolls we asked her to surprise us with the next set of rolls. They were delicious. This place is also BYOB which helps save money when the bill comes. I would recommend this restaurant. Don't forget to get the fried green tea ice cream for dessert.

The sushi and shashimi and the hand rolls were fabulous. I have to go back again!!
